Every year, TCFA hosts or participates in a variety of special events. Some are specifically for TCFA members, and others are open to the public. TCFA Annual Convention, the TCFA Fed Beef Challenge, Junior Fed Beef Challenge and Feedyard Camp are highly anticipated special events that members and the public look forward to each year.
The Association is also involved in the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) Annual Convention and Summer Conference, as well as the NCBA Fall Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. Throughout the year, there are multiple seminars and workshops covering specific programs for cattlemen.
The start of the 2019 Junior Fed Beef Challenge is just around the corner. Steers can be validated anytime from March 1 to March 25. The application deadline is April 15 and the contest is July 26. Early Bird Registration for the 2019 U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Beef General Assembly is open. The USRSB General Assembly Meeting will take place April 30-May 2 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Fresno Convention Center in Fresno, California. Register here.
TCFA is accepting applications for the 2019 TCFA Feedyard Camp. Applications must be received to the TCFA office no later than May9. The camp will run June 25 through June 28. Application and information can be found here.
