BRAD LUBBERS JOINS TCFA STAFF  

Brad Lubbers has joined the staff of the Texas Cattle Feeders Association in Amarillo as quality assurance assistant.  In his new job, Lubbers will assist feedyards in Cattle Feeding Country of Texas , Oklahoma and New Mexico with the TCFA Beef Safety and Quality Assurance^SM  Program and the TCFA Environmental Services Program. 

Lubbers, a native of Lamar , Colo. , is a 2004 graduate of West Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in Integrated Pest Management.  He is currently pursuing a master's degree in Plant, Soil and Environmental Science at West Texas A&M University .  He will work concurrently at TCFA while he finishes his degree.

The Texas Cattle Feeders Association, headquartered in Amarillo , represents feedyards in Texas , Oklahoma and New Mexico .  Last year, the region produced nearly 7 million fed cattle, 30% of the nation's total.
